Easy Energy Balls

This recipe is one of my absolute favorites to make. It is EASY, QUICK and DELICIOUS. But seriously...what more could you want in a snack?

These energy balls do exactly what their name dictates. They provide energy! This snack is filled with amazing whole grains, healthy fats and plenty of protein. Not to mention the delicious chocolate chips too πŸ˜‹ All of these wonderful properties are there to keep you going until your next meal or give you that lasting energy to carry you through any type of movement.

RECIPE

🌟 1 cup rolled oats

🌟 1/4 cup honey

🌟 1/2 cup peanut butter --> I recommend natural peanut butter with nuts as the only ingredient

🌟 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Mix all of these wonderful ingredients together and then form the mixture into small balls. Put in the refrigerator for 10 minutes or so and "voila!" delicious energy balls for your next snacking needs.

ADAPTATIONS

Here are some ways to alter this recipe if peanut butter or chocolate chips aren't your thing OR if you want to switch things up!

⭐️ exchange the peanut butter for another nut butter such as almond or cashew butter

⭐️ switch out the dark chocolate chips with any type of dried fruit such as raisins, apricots or anything else!

⭐️ want to create a healthier dessert? replace the dark chocolate chips with candy of your choosing! I would choose Reese's Peanut butter cups because those are my favorite πŸ˜‹

I hope you all enjoy this recipe and have fun testing out different ways to make these delicious energy balls!

Happy eating!
